Service Supply Chain
A system of organizations, people, activities, information and assets involved in transferring a service from provider to customer.
The Service Supply Chain Application (SSCA) Process manages the flow of services, people, material, information, finances, etc. by integrating these resources across multiple organizations. In referencing these organizations and resources, the SSCA Process manages flow on both the demand and supply side.
The SSCA in conjunction with the Construction Project Management Continuum (CPMC) Application enables the Primary Contractor to improve customer satisfaction and reduce operational costs through corroborated forecasting, planning and scheduling of the project and its associated resources at the Work Event level.
The Primary Contractor distinguishes each Service Provider organization referencing CSI MasterFormat Standards, Market Segment, Geographic Location, Licenses, Insurance, Bonding and other qualifications.
This permits a best match when linking "Service Providers" to designated services broken down at the
work event level using the same CSI MasterFormat Standards, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Primary Contractor efficiency and effectiveness is significantly improved when delivering services to the Customer Owner.
